BRAVA

BRAVA is a parent group that supports the St. Agnes Upper School Students explorations in the Fine Arts to include:  Drama, Music and Visual Arts.  We'd love for you to be a part of this dynamic organization so you can help support your daughter in her Fine Arts endeavors!

BRAVA supports our daughters in many ways!  For each stage production, BRAVA makes sure water bottles are available at every dress rehearsal and performance, we provide a dinner for the cast and crew, and we give each participant a 5x7 copy of the cast photo.  We also give a gift to each participant in the Vocal Music Department's Christmas and Spring Concerts.  And it is BRAVA members you see selling and taking up tickets, selling CD's, and helping in any way we can at all the Fine Arts events.  BRAVA members are available at St. Agnes Idol to assist with this student-run event.

Each Spring, BRAVA awards the "Passion For My Art Scholarship" to a rising 10th or 11th grader, who expresses in an essay why she loves her art and how she will participate in the arts at St. Agnes.  This scholarship envelopes an array of arts, vocal, instrument, visual arts, photography, performing arts and the list goes on.  Since BRAVA was established, a $500 scholarship has been given each year.

BRAVA's funds come from three sources:  Annual Membership Dues, Donations and our Annual Art Show and Sale.  Membership has three levels:  Connoisseur $25.00, Aficionado $50.00 and Star $100.  Donations are tax deductible and can be as small or as large as you wish.

We have many activities throughout the year:  Annual Art Show and Sale, (4) Theater Performances, Altered Book Art Show, St. Agnes Idol, and the list goes on.  Check our Calendar for this years activities.

Our BRAVA Boosters are very busy supporting Fine Arts at St. Agnes Academy and we cannot do what needs to be done without your membership and assistance.  If you would like to volunteer at any of our events selling tickets, passing out programs, setting up art...we'd love to have you join us.  Our SAA Girls love the involvement of their parents and we love welcoming new enthusiasm!
